Total Loss Letter of Guarantee Information

If your vehicle has been declared a total loss, Together Credit Union is here to guide you throughout the process of finalizing your loan and ensuring all documentation is handled smoothly.

 

Submitting a letter of guarantee request:

To begin, please email all total loss Letter of Guarantee Requests to:

Important Note: Owner-retain claims (where you keep your vehicle after settlement) are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Required Documents:

To facilitate completion of the Letter of Guarantee for your claim, please provide the following:

  • Letter of Guarantee Request
  • Copy of the Police Report or Cause of loss letter outlining the type and description of the loss
  • Settlement Breakdown
  • Documentation for Any Prior Damage or Previous Payments to the collateral
  • Vehicle Evaluation, including: Date of Loss, Mileage, & Claim payment amount
